It was pretty obvious from the beginning when you found her car on highway 2 near Stevens pass. Did you search with cadaver dogs? If no body then she faked her death or killed elsewhere.

She ran out of gas so it's very likely someone stopped to "help".... I wouldn't throw around really crazy theories. I just hope she is found safe. Hitchhiking or asking for help can be dangerous. I just hope she's alright.

US Highway 2 has a webcam at the summit. They must be able to ID vehicles heading in both directions around that estimated time. And there’s a natural hot spring on the west side.

There are homes, shops, and gas stations all over in the Index-Skykomish area. So, an 18-year-old adult 1) runs out of gas 2) turns off cell phone, 3) leaves purse IN the car 4) then climbs UP for help, instead of the road? I know this area, and I have questions.
