50lb flour bags stack nicely for a comfortable, solid bunker that both creates a physical protective barrier and also supplies the baking ingredients one needs for heart-healing during difficult times. 20 to 30 bags provides respectable interior square footage. 😉 Jesse@KA

We are saddened and outraged by the senseless, but all too familiar, tragedy of George Floyd’s death.  We speak today against the devastating racial injustices that continue to plague our country. To be silent would be complicit.

Hi, Katy! You're looking for a starter that looks like pancake batter. That being said, there are many bakers who prefer a "stiff" (AKA dry) starter! Keep it covered (but not quite airtight) to avoid drying out, and add a little extra water if needed. You've got this! Kat@KAF

To give our employee-owners a much-needed rest before welcoming 2021, we’ll be fully closing for the last two weekends of the month: Dec. 24th – 27th and Dec. 31st – Jan. 3rd. Already scheduled baking classes will still be held.   Thanks for your supportive understanding!
