A low divorce rate is not necessarily a good thing. Sometimes the reason for the low divorce is because the country is oppressive and sexist. Many people interpreted this tweet as an endorsement for countries with low divorce rate. Can someone tell me why?

There needs to be a standard of what is right, necessarily no one should be put in a bad place financially because someone can’t make a commitment. There’s other reasons for divorces but honestly the concept is a bad one. Get a partnership.

I agree. Maybe marriage is out dated? I mean things happen. I can't tell you who I will be tomorrow let alone 50 years from now. How can we hold such an expectation?

Exactly that’s why there needs to be a different form of making a commitment to another person. Maybe consolidating your love for another person should become more of a personal and family ritual rather than signing through the government. Love is undefinable and as such should..

be more personal, I’ll come up with a solution with more research.

No, because the media keeps pumping up the message "do what you want, now!" Integrity, fidelity, devotion? No, "just live the moment, it is your time" More broken hearts, more broken homes cause a peace of a family is not worth as one's own.
