You're right. There is always some consequence to pay. What makes it scary is that sometimes the person paying the consequence doesn't realize it.

That is scary what's scarier than that is they know it and DGAF and keep making those same mistakes even still after so long the universe shuts that whole narrative down by bringing it too a catastrophic end.
