This is very true. People need time to process first. I especially see this pressure by adults with children. Kids are often told to apologize immediately, yet often there is a much bigger story that likely requires a much broader discussion & possibly apologies from both sides.
When people are pressured into forgiving someone it is not real and they don’t heal. One must willingly forgive.
