    Some analysts believe that the modernization and development of China's nuclear arsenal indicates a 'sprint to parity' with the U.S., but the fact remains that China possesses less than 300 nuclear warheads while the U.S. has more than 6,500.

    There are approximately 15,000 nuclear weapons that exist in the world, and the U.S. maintains roughly half of them. Deterrence is intact, a larger arsenal will only be destabilizing.

    Discrediting the pain and anger felt by women protesting against Kavanaugh by labeling them "paid, professional protesters" is not acceptable behavior from

    I am on Capitol Hill. There are scores of women protesting against Kavanaugh. Many carrying hand made signs. The statement that they are paid protesters is detached from reality.

    To whomever says that the U.S. trade war with China is completely separate from DPRK nuclear negotiations, this is why it's not

    Will an end-of-war declaration, one that Pres. Moon has stressed is only verbal and can be reversed at any time, be enough of a security guarantee to get N. Korea to make actual progress toward denuclearization?

    Ri claims has shown its commitment; demands that the US show its commitment by agreeing to Kim Jong Un’s call for end-of-war declaration and lifting . Otherwise, “there is no way we will unilaterally disarm first”

    North Korea has always advocated for reciprocal measures. Continuing to press Pyongyang for unilateral disarmament will not get us very far.

    It is problematic that when a woman is brave enough to come forward to recount her traumatic experience with sexual assault *on national tv* there are men in power who will dismiss her claims and attribute them to her "having problems"

    The problem in our politics is not polarization. It is a Republican Party that has become so radical and devoid of compassion in its pursuit of power that it ignores facts, turns a blind eye to abuse, and submits to the whims of an unstable leader.
