Yeah that’s the part that I understand from a tactical perspective but the no market rate housing anywhere anytime behavior basically means Oakland and Bayview are further screwed.

Like omg, the person who used to run development for your org told me about the time the Armory could’ve been part affordable and part market rate housing. And then the leadership freaked out ideologically bc it had *some* mkt rate housing. And so it became a porn studio instead
