Yesterday, I received some questions from a Chronicle reporter that appear to be from opposition researchers - probably funded by the billionaires. I wanted to share those questions - and my answers - with you.https://medium.com/@JaneKimCA/no-filter-6f4247335455 …

Absolutely appalling how crookedly the Chronicle is reporting on the SF mayor’s race. This is the state of journalism from a so-called reputable news outlet like other outlets attacked as “fake news”. Jane has a great record & that’s what the news should be about. Period.

I would like to know who calls the Chron a reputable news outlet so that I can disabuse them of the notion.

In the age of Trump and blatant racism and corruption it’s easy for weak politicians and yellow news outlets to make paper thin grandstands on social justice and notions of the truth.

That statement is certainly ironic!

Only if I made “paper thin grandstands” but that’s never been my style — except in the eyes of a few knee-jerk YIMBY detractors.

I wasn't pointing at you specifically, but the rally in West Portal by $3M homes and then Tim's posturing generally....

This makes it 100% clear to me and hopefully everyone else "One reason I opposed SB827" Jane opposed the housing bill that was crucially needed and joined the NIMBYs in blocking housing for all Californians. Not sure what to say after that.

Even if you were for SB827 you have to admit it was half baked even in light of its goal as a giveaway of local control in shaping development for the profit margins of big developers.

Do you have a bold plan to create housing for the 500,000 Californians that are born each year in this state? Or the net 300,000K people we add every year? We’ve only generally built 80K units a year for the last 10 years. If so, what is it?https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/California-Population-2017-Report-481520941.html …

Absolutely. Tax the wealthy at 1950s levels, defund the military, build housing that all people can afford, single payer healthcare and free public education. That ought to do the trick.

What is your strategy for achieving this plan before we are both dead?
