Seems like a wise choice if the framing of the questions makes obvious the story already has a clear agenda. I don’t have an opinion on Kim, but the response here was the smart thing to do.

i do not think journalists can complain about candidates making their questions public and answering them and say they stand for transparency.

I think her reasoning believing that there is lack of objectivity in the questions is sound, and transparently responding directly to the public rather than letting the suspect reporter control the narrative is something that I actually appreciate.

I don’t agree with her platform, but my thoughts exactly. I appreciated her candor, and wouldn’t want to answer the phone either if they kept insinuating I lied. “Excuse me, next. Boring, bonehead questions are not cool.” Didn’t work on Tesla earnings call, would be great here
