Five phone calls from the city's largest newspaper is a lot of phone calls. She should, you know, also have someone who is not her, who has a full-time job doing things like answering calls from reporters. Like a press secretary? Or a comms person?

Anyway, I don't support her policies because I find them disingenuous. You can't protect single family zoning on the Westside, while concentrating most of the development and homeless services on the Eastside and say you're addressing inequality.

You can't claim to be a pro-affordability advocate, when the concessions you extract from a single development or plan in your district amplify the jobs-housing imbalance overall and contribute to displacement in other poorer jurisdictions across the Bay.
