When you're reporting, usually you ask questions and you might not have all the information. I highly doubt her identity being misconstrued with another Jane Kim would've ended up in the final story.

Are you talking about Bernie? Or just making an incredibly disingenuous comparison to Trump cuz you're not into Jane Kim.

Jane Kim’s response seems pretty forthcoming and honest. Nowhere does she decry the questions for being oppositional - just that they are based on shoddy reporting - and she answers fully! This tweet makes me trust you less /:

Publishing it on a Medium post is oppositional. Almost no one ever does that. Don't think I've seen a candidate do that. Maybe once or twice. But maybe that's the new norm. If someone was your mayor & didn't respond to reporters, wouldn't that concern you? They called her 5 times

Implying that Kim and trump use similar tactics is fucking ridiculous. These questions weren’t challenging. Shit, this was barely journalism.

If Maggie Haberman killed a story just because Trump tweeted that he didn’t like the questions, where would we be?
