if there are socialists who support prop 13 (i don't think any official DSA branches have) they are bad socialists and are either very dumb or evil

It's fine. One of my best friends in politics was an organizer at Evolve, in actually a monthly donor. I desperately want to repeal the whole thing but split-roll might be our best option considering the realtors are trying to EXPAND it rn

I think upzoning is easier to do than P13 and P13 is a prerequisite for any kind of large scale social housing program bc even progressive income taxation isn’t large enough actually if you calculate the numbers out. Anyway we have so far failed at step 1 so good luck to you all.
