I thought progressives held themselves to higher standards. But no, it looks like the status quo of all new development being concentrated in the East and all shelters/services in the East will continue.

What the hell does “progressive” mean if you’re against building places for people to live? Let’s call these people what they are: conservative. They’re resistant to change. Their ideal vision of San Francisco is pre-dot com 1.0. Kim is a *conservative* candidate.

Answer the question. Nobody can win a citywide election without those people. And nobody—not Kim, Lee, Newsom, or Brown—tried seriously to build in these rich neighborhoods. It’s not the label.
