Yes but not. It is a long term aid, not an immediate aid. Like telling someone with a broken arm to give up smoking for their health.
Stanford as a private institution also has an inherent ideological lens. (Just saying.)

I think as long as the polling is done by a reputable pollster and the cross tabs are released, that wouldn’t really be a problem. Good pollsters won’t put their name on crap.

Like polls from endorsing organizations and campaigns are a little sketchier. But I would trust a poll commissioned by Stanford!

Polling is very expensive. And time consuming. I’m involved with my colleague’s polling institute here at SF State. She works so hard to keep it going and make it educational.
