People who are still saying this after years of explaining how you can't house more people without more homes are just not acting in good faith and I'm so tired of pretending they mean well. Being against displacement and also against building means being against newcomers & kids

And we have to act like that's a really complicated wonky point you can't expect people to understand. But people understand it just fine. The only thing that prevents them from hearing it is the endless vitriol and slander that gets directed at anybody who says it.
