Its a useless, useless term used by people who are unwilling to defend actions and ideas with nuance and who want to make straw man arguments with people they disagree with.

Is that what you think I’m doing?

It is. Rather than meet my arguments you're exclaiming "Bias! There s bias over there! Do not engage! Bias!"

I’ve met your arguments. Responded to every word.

You've responded to them in part by claiming my bias. Don't attack the messenger. If you're a YIMBY supporter, own the actuons at the rally, as the YIMBY leadership already has, and move on

As I said, I’m criticizing your words here. Your judgement. Not your reporting. If you don’t like receiving criticism for your judgment, that’s understandable. And you just once again blamed YIMBY for the events. That is what I am criticizing.

Again, that wasnt blaming YIMBY. But leadership there has already owned up to mistakes made, that is what I am recommending you do.

What mistakes should I own up to??

Ironic that this thread began with a YIMBY leader's apology....

Not ironic. Instructive. I’ve been impressed with the YIMBY leaders taking responsibility for their actions. And yet I see no such encouraging behavior from those criticizing the YIMBYs. It’s sad.
