But that district will never vote him out. There is something to say about a more diverse electorate. Mono-rule costs a lot, no one will primary him.

He primaried Mike Honda, who was friendlier to labor than he was. He was funded more by tech than Honda was.

yes but now San Jose is pursuing a jobs heavy direction. Santa Clara and San Jose also were suing each other over various development projects.
