Adam, are you going to make me walk two blocks and take pictures of the rest of the house so you can see where the pot of gold is buried? PS - Buy MY house for this price per square foot please.

Aha! You are right. This is another 848 square foot home on a 6000 square foot lot on the same street that also happens to be for sale. 1062 (sold for $2m) https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1062-Plymouth-Dr-Sunnyvale-CA-94087/19537995_zpid/ … 1074 (on sale for 1.75m) https://www.zillow.com/homes/1074-Plymouth-Dr,-Sunnyvale,-CA-94087_rb/ … There's an open house today. Maybe I should go.

Go and do some video interviews of other people considering paying market rate. Here are some good questions to start with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk9C1ukV-EM …

idea: have ppl pay taxes that dont make them lose home due to appreciation and when they sell it take the deferred taxes out of the sale? Doesn't fix housing but helps to fix the tax issue... We are struggling with growth here,it seems we are much more open to ADUs though

that is how other states in America work....
