Hey @CalOccupier do you think your kids should be entitled to live in your neighborhood regardless of what they earn? And if they can't afford it @kimmaicutler's solution is to upzone and build until they can afford it.

Haven't read CA climate action plan, but Marin's 2014 climate action plan shows Transit Oriented Development reducing emissions by just 0.1%. Tiny! Transit is dirtier than cars in suburbia; so TOD mode shift doesn't achieve anything. Focus on solar if you really care.pic.twitter.com/kvJObVRxx2

Marin is not representative of California as a whole, and the lack of transit to develop around is a self-inflicted wound. Other areas would greatly benefit from dense development near transit hubs.
