I can’t believe this tweet isn’t going viral. Do people not really care that Facebook may have systematically charged the Clinton campaign an order of magnitude or two more than it was charging Trump to reach American voters? (Which is not allowed in other mediums by law.)https://twitter.com/parscale/status/967516077956755457 …

...just like you would with a viral email for donations. Or a TV ad that gets picked up on late night TV. Or a poster by Shepard Fairey that everyone downloads. Good marketing is cheaper by dint of being good marketing.

You are thinking with your CEO hat on, not a citizen-in-fragile-democracy hat on. There are norms in other mediums for offering candidates the same rate. https://www.fcc.gov/media/policy/statutes-and-rules-candidate-appearances-advertising … Facebook deliberately weaseled its way out of applying these to its platform.pic.twitter.com/lA6ek4kPWI

An online directory of all ads to see about fake news? Totes fair. But a good tv ad that has greater user survey response than the opponents which is inflammatory is essentially the same idea. Also, could be *nicer* ads get more engagement.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
