I didn't say "largely." I keep coming back to the "luxury construction is public service" part of the yimby platform because it's the dealbreaker for many affordability advocates -- the part that seems to exploit yimby followers' honest public spirit for private gain.

True. Separate issue, tho. I didn't think we were discussing SB 827, were we? The objections to SB 827 are more to uses of state-level legislation to override local tenant protections, to inclusionary zoning requirements for affordable units, etc.

Really SB 827 would go a bit higher than 6 stories, but I take your point that its goal is midrise apartments.
