Yeah that’s been pointed out before. Can’t ascribe causation obviously and im unsure of the mechanics of that immediate an impact on poverty rates (even with adjusted housing costs) but it is interesting.

Yes being home to the worlds most valuable companies by market capitalization, having stronger recovery growth rates compared to the rest of the US and being the sixth largest economy in the world is a sign that the CA govt is strangling business.
