You’d think it was a refugee camp, or someplace in a deep recession, or that lost a war.
I respect what Jeff Kositsky is doing in consolidating the department, creating more accountability & metrics around shelter occupancy, etc. But if people want homelessness to visibly disappear from SF, they should be prepared to fund a lot more PSH and shelters.

yes and if people want it ended, then there are probably enormously large things that have to be moved at the federal & state level. It's like there's a big hole in the bottom of the ship, and we've given cities a tea cup to bail out the water.

how about proposal from
@sonjatrauss¹ for#SafeOrganizedSpaces which are different than shelters or PSH, and need relatively little money?
