You know wiener isn't your boss, don't you? You can use own thoughts. Why don't you move to the south bay?

Uhhhhhh median home values are actually close to 2X down there what they are in SF. Rents comparable. Who says a person can’t be
@scott_wiener’s boss if they are a constituent of a publicly elected official in a democracy?4 replies 0 retweets 16 likes -

You don't have to push his agenda for him. Push him to do the right thing not bash others trying to protect their communities.

The right thing to do is to upzone near transit infrastructure that we’ve already spent billions of dollars on with demolition protections for rent controlled tenants.

No one spent billions on those bus lines and no one will approve future transit if it means they give up their communities

I agree upzoning near rail stops makes lots of sense. It even makes sense on bus lines with 7 minute intervals. Not so sure about 15 minute intervals.

The local communities, who paid to get BART should decide. Huge betrayal to take away their rights because they paid to have transit.

They paid to have transit and then Prop. 13 passed, which meant the transit boosted their property values while they got to keep the same low tax basis. The newcomers pay most of the taxes because they have higher property tax assessments that are 2-10X bigger.

So why aren't you fighting prop13 again? All I see is pushing the Weiner agenda

Uh... you seem quite ignorant, considering that I literally spoke at a Prop. 13 reform event with @evolve_ca the other month.https://twitter.com/growtherichmond/status/939999831128358912 …

Still not answering whether you are an owner that benefits from zoning restrictions. So I'm going to assume you're a property owner that financially benefits from zoning restrictions.

Assume whatever you want. I am anti-corruption, I believe in fairness and am procommunity. You're pushing to displace local people
