We should let Berkeley be exempt from housing rules. We will also simply reassess the value of every lot every 6 months and charge them full market value property tax, no more prop 13 for them.

We are a relatively high tax state, USA Today ranks CA 10th. Our problem is the politicians responsible for the allocation of those taxes do not value education. If they did, we would spend our money there. Tax revenue is very high. They spend it poorly. Follow the $$$.

That is simply not true. Prop. 98 sets a floor for the % of revenue we must spend on education.
