weird. all the sci-fi I used to read would talk about delivery robots, but never touched upon legislation *against* delivery robots. I guess legal wrangling doesn't make for good sci-fi.

As someone who works on robots but also frequently uses sidewalks I'm thinking this is a good thing, at least for SF's densest neighborhoods. I've heard stories about delivery robots acting with disregard for public safety on the peninsula. We can adapt regs when tech is proven.
