It's really not necessary to clap at me regarding California-specific housing policy. I never claimed to follow it nor do I currently have any intention of starting to.

@uhshanti. The point is there is no realistic funding mechanism in sight unless they have some magical tool to convince 2/3s constituents across CA in majority property owner (and often far more conservative) districts to vote against their own financial interests.2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes
Also I’m curious how you think widescale public housing becomes politically feasible absent a catastrophic and largely fatal national crisis (like WWI leading to Red Vienna) or WWII bombing of London leading to geographically distributed acquisition of sites for council housing
