Also, let’s keep in mind that most single family homeowners have zero intentions of turning into landlords and thus won't care.
They’ll care that it affects their property values and they are the biggest part of the electorate that actually turns out.
Homeowners will oppose it because it’ll impact their property values—thus making housing cheaper—so you oppose it?
This was a conversation about feasibility — eg, snowballs chance in hell it would pass. Like immediate prop 13 repeal would ever be passed.
But this is why I asked you whether you thought complete repeal of Costa Hawkins was good policy. If so, then this is really a strategy Q
