why do foreign buyers like California real estate so much? Because they get almost the same property taxes forever.

that's what foreign buyers are doing. As for CA owners,their home is a lot more than that. it's their community & friends. it's emotional.

As a longtime owner, your effective rate in coastal California is lower than any other state but Hawaii. I don’t know why they’re so cheap
