UCSF is building 595 units in Dogpatch, I would love to know their cost per unit. Also, they could build double that if they ignored zoning.

They are spending $17k per unit to placate angry NIMBYs, plus they bought the land. I would fully believe it exceeds $1m per unit.

it's not $781k per unit, because that total price also includes a retail complex. Also, it isn't affordable housing, it's high end.
