Yeah. The obvious question is, if people prefer suburbs, why is urban core so expensive? Price, as well as behavior, reveals preferences.

Key is land and const costs to use it. More ppl prefer 2k sf condo in SF, even tho it uses only sliver of land, than 1/4 acre in Livermore.
