And more densification will happen over the next few decades, takes multiple boom/bust cycles and time for local will to adjust.

I primarily fight gentrifiers of the Mission. And that does include large MR projects. I support large 100% affordable projects there.

it's not city greed. We had ~half a billion deficit in 2008-2009, and we will have close to $1B deficit 5 years from now w/ pensions
