I was turned down by 8 schools on my list that were closer.
SF schools, like its rent control & development policies, mean well and have terrible unintended consequences.

eight kids on nearby block. none attend closest school, all tried, spread all over SF.
it is a huge problem that SFUSD refuses to acknowledge. We gave up, moved to Marin.
SFUSD eliminated Algebra I in middle schools. Need that to finish calculus in high school.
