Portland (& Seattle etc) have loads of former Californians escaping climate change, I've met many; & the Pacific Northwest is predicted to receive large
#s from around US for this reason. (as envisioned decades prior by Ursula le Guin, Octavia Butler, among others).Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I find it galling that these relatively brief (but still awful) periods of poor air quality have so many people declaring their intent to leave & the Bay "over." People in the Central Valley have dealt with stubbornly bad AQ for decades—we Bay folks don't know our privilege.
