Thru are trying to modernize the USPS for package volume, not letter volume. Why would they put the machines back if they are *truly* not needed? People are turning on the outrage machine without even asking the right questions. They just assume the worst about everything.

1) Ensuring free and fair elections in the middle of a contact-driven pandemic. Kind of a big one. 2) A relatively small part of mail is first-class, and other kinds have not seen the same reduction in the past decade. I.e., most of the drop is 1st class.https://facts.usps.com/table-facts/
