To me, what’s most remarkable is the blind spot tech twitter seems to have for the suburbs. Everything is either “SF/NYC” or snickering about moving to a farm or Boise. (It’s always Boise, for some reason)

Suburbs solve this problem. Some folks roll their eyes, but for those of us in our 30s raising kids, suburbs are the best.

Cities didn't disappear or diminish in importance as centers of human capital in previous pandemics. There's no reason why this one should be any different. The technology that facilitates meetings over the internet can only take you so far.
