do most people mail their ballots at a retail location? i had assumed regular mail pickup / delivery was uneffected, though i guess maybe thats a dumb assumption.

if there's no one working the retail offices, are there people delivering the mail?

To minimize Trump's damage, we should prioritize drop boxes over the mail. We should be screaming this loudly. No, not everyone will have access, but it will do major damage to any attempts to interfere via the post office.

And it will significantly reduce the amount of mail the USPS has to handle, which should improve the experience for people who don't have access to a drop box.

If WHouse gets its way, we won't. That's been the plan for some time, starting with the refusal to fund USPS basic operations through fiscal year-end.

There are drop off locations for ballots. One is in front of City Hall of Berkeley, as well as City Hall of Albany and majority of east bay cities. https://www.acgov.org/rovapps/maps/ballotdropbox_map.htm …

"Um, how are we all going to vote?" You put your ballot in a mailbox.

I recommend the ballot drop box across the street from the post office. https://www.acgov.org/rovapps/maps/ballotdropbox_map.htm …
