Question for parents of school aged children in this pandemic: where are you getting your lesson plans and curriculum for the fall? From the school itself? Supplementing from elsewhere? If so, where?

I assume because the teachers union has a vested interest in keeping demand for teachers high, and one way to do that is to resist innovations that make the profession more scalable

Bingo. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. This is why classroom sizes haven’t been allowed to increase - which *seems* like a good thing, but locks in the maximums that a school can have and is hell for say, Immersion program schools who might lose students and not be able to replace them.
