I love the optimism and still am having a hard time believing there will be a vaccine.

Probably not. If transmission is low generally borders will open. The danger for those without a vaccine is if they contract virus when aboard and have to go into 14 day quarantine!

I’m expecting that, due to both unwilling participants and lack of initial supply, there will be some sort of identification card or wristband process similar to what was depicted ‘Contagion.’

hopefully they make a certification for the vaccinated :/

Indeed, could foresee proof of vaccine required for travel, just like proof of negative Covid test is now required for many of the places that US citizens can still travel to.

Travel requiring a vaccine seems to be actually a good idea. Won’t burden the kind of people who don’t travel internationally anyway

Except it should apply domestically too. >1000 TSA agents have contracted COVID-19

Proof of vaccination or you don’t travel. Which will also become a requirement for entering workplaces or other shared spaces. Which is a good thing.

Is anyone working on some sort of blockchain chain of custody type solution to track a manufactured vaccine dose to an end patient? Seems like a digital record of this would be valuable internationally, particularly as some vaccines may later be discovered to be less effective.
