The Stay-At-Home class is overly preoccupied with slights about speech while my friends in public service are fighting broken, overloaded unemployment systems to get families checks they’ve waited months for or are trying to help people not get evicted onto the streets.

Yea but my point being unemployment benefits are meant for those that had jobs and lost them during the pandemic I know of people who shouldn't be getting those benefits by any definition of unemployment....

Heard a good news report that the systems are so outdated, some couldn’t handle a four digit check amount. Part of why Congress did a blanket $600 bump in UI was due to recognition that updated state UI code bases was like turning a cruise ship vs. a sports car.
