Sometimes I wonder about the circular nature of the universe. How was Fred Trump indelibly affected by the death of his father amid the 1918 pandemic when he was 12 years old? And then how did he act out that trauma on his son, leading us to this moment in this pandemic?https://twitter.com/TimOBrien/status/1280831101720768512 …

I think it's true, and I think it also depends on the person. my mom died when I was twelve and I didn't turn into a jerk. What is different about the Trump family? Is it the way they dealt with each other around trauma?

I don’t know! It also sounds like this emotional abuse started really young — like 2 years old.

I normally don't buy tell-all books but I pre-ordered Mary Trump's, in part because her professional qualifications make me think she knows what she's talking about. I'm looking forward to finding out.

Same. I’m much more interested in this one than all the other ones because of the psychoanalysis.
