Right now, feels like: keep wearing masks, not doing big groups. Cobble together some sort of system for education, and be prepared to open & close things frequently. Make sure to support our governments, including voting in November. And wait for a vaccine. & hope people use it.

And, in meta, do one’s own research. Even folks like Fauci at best misled about mask effectiveness early when trying to secure PPE for health workers, later recanting. So fewer trust, and rightly so. Even the good leaders aren’t great.

1. Hard shutdown to get the numbers down, then, unlike the first time, reopen intelligently instead of rushed. Plenty of models here including northeast states. 2. Limp along in half shutdown mode with stressed hospitals and a lot of sick people until vaccine.
