I’m not going to claim to be an expert. That’s why I called it a “group”. “Movement” would be another term.
But my point is: you can both be anti fascist as a person, and still have significant concerns about Antifa as a (let’s say movement); and criticizing Antifa is not necessarily any indication that someone is insuffuciently anti-fascist.
it's more like the tea party, there are many different local organizations rather than a single national one that runs local branches. there are certainly many people who claim to be a "member of antifa"
“Antifa” is for the most part leftists that track the far-right activity and harass them to a degree. IMO, liberals are helping pave the wave for Trump’s reaction.
