I'd say Seattle does have a robust startup ecosystem, and a lot of the same cost of living problems that the bay area has, to a lesser degree.

I'm in Dallas County, and just to be sure, our yearly property tax is quite a lot. I don't think we residents get away as cleanly as many assume.

Yeah and it’s not the best and brightest and most motivated that are leaving for Nevada. Those folks are still coming in, often from overseas.
