Is it scary the virus was found throughout the body but NOT in the nasopharynx where we swab? Am I reading that correctly

That’s not unusual. Nasopharyngeal swabs are not as sensitive at picking up viral RNA as lung or deep tracheal swabs. I’m not certain the tested the NP swab in Santa Clara for COVID19. My understanding is they waited until other tests came back negative.

But she has clear coronary arteries. The only risk factor I could see from the autopsy was the presence of myocarditis. Viral myocarditis is an exceedingly rare cause for cardiac rupture with pericardial tamponade.
