Have heard from multiple friends in startup land that they are considering moving out of NYC once this current mess is over. They don’t see it being a safe, and even close to as exciting as before, city at least for the next few years. Is this a sentiment more broadly shared?

Yeah...but Boston faced the problem for a while (and still does in some ways) that there were tons of 22 year olds graduating from colleges, but not enough top mgmt talent available to build/scale companies. And not enough investors. When’s the next time Bay Area VCs travel?
