Isolating positive cases in centralized quarantines and having healthy people spend more time outside (in the open air) are both effective; most US policies appear to be the exact opposite

It is what Taiwan is doing and I for one will happily comply should I become infected

Korea’s been doing in-home, not centralized, quarantine. I think it could only feasibly work as an option in the US given our culture.
