According to the article, the extra parking is for the neighbors to use— for free. Rich people asking for eoom@for their cars in an affordable housing project that they are opposing. Now that’s rich.

In many of these high cost, exclusionary communities, homeowners property values are increasing at rates that exceed a developers return on new housing. Meaning that homeowners are profiting more than the developers they accuse of being greedy.

That the anti housing leftards somehow convinced the press to call all market rate multi unit housing “luxury condos” boggles my mind. Also, to fix this, gotta look at housing codes and the regulations. This is one place where the GOP approach bears some consideration
