Dengue is example of disease where the 2nd infection is often far worse than 1st. This has been attributed to low levels of antibodies remaining after 1st infection that are insufficient to give much immunity but still bind to virus and usher them to susceptible cells.

So in the case of dengue having no antibodies (i.e. having never been infected) can be better than having low antibodies (after a 1st infection). Hope that is not case here.
