Okay, you've seen that viral tweet about how Biden said he'd veto Medicare for All. That's clearly NOT what he said. He says what his opposition is based on, says he agrees with it in principle and goes out of his way not to say he'd veto it. Watch and decide.pic.twitter.com/hcqnnsnIqy

Original and now also. He didn’t say it. You seem to be saying you assume he would veto it because he supports a different policy. And you may be right. It’s an absurd hypothetical. But your argument is just based on knowing he doesn’t support it. Which we know.

Absurd hypothetical. No way in hell M4A passes. Now if you could get 60 Justice Democrats in the Senate and 220 in the House ... hope springs eternal!

Exactly, it’s a strawman argument. Sanders doesn’t even have a plan, he has a purity test. And if he can’t even win the nomination, there is no reason for any lawmakers to go to the mat for his crappy hashtag without a price tag idea

It sounds like he’d want to know if it raised taxes on middle class people. Bernie claims it doesn’t. So, then no problems, right?

Here’s the deal, Medicare for All is not a plan, it’s a purity test. And since Sanders is losing, it will die when his candidacy dies. So it’s a strawman argument since Medicare for All will never see the light of day unless Sanders renames a post office “Medicare for All”.
